Aureliano Toso was an Italian artist and glassblower born in Murano in 1884. He worked for the Fratelli Toso firm, and later, in 1932, collaborated with the Successori Andrea Rioda company.
In 1938, he founded his own Murano glass factory, Vetreria Aureliano Toso.
He also participated in numerous exhibitions:
The Venice Biennale from 1940 to 1966.
The Triennale di Milano, where he won a gold medal in 1951.
He collaborated with several notable designers:
Dino Martens: started in 1939 and served as the company's artistic director.

Enrico Potz.
Gino Poli: in 1966, he took over as artistic director, specializing in glass pieces for lighting.
